At the base of the wiper arm you will see a small tab sticking up. Use a screw driver and pry the tab away from its current position. Only will go one way. Then once it is in its outward position lift wiper blade off the window and wiggle to remove it from the shaft. You may have to try a few times when you put it back on to get it where it was when it is in the off position just keep moving to the desired spline in the wiper shaft until you get it.. Remove the windshield wiper arm from the windshield wiper motor. Remove the wiring harness. Remove the retaining nut. Reverse the process to install the new windshield wiper motor.

The 2000 Nissan windshield wiper fuse is located in the fuse box. The windshield wiper fuse will be in the second column, third from the top.
It is on top of the intake manafold, just under the passenger side windshield wiper.
