IN fact NOBODY has suggested it but worked like a charm in about 5 minutes
******************* A system restore is not a good idea for a spyware issue (unless you purge the system restore folder). If you do not purge the system restore folder and someone in the future does a system restore to the day you had the spyware issue the system would get reinfected as the spyware/virus is stored in the system restore folder.
