On the face of the rotor are 2 holes. You need to simultaneously screw in 2 hex bolts, size: M8x1.25mm. The bolts will push the rotor off the wheelbearings. From the Advance auto store guy & Jim's dad.
Remove the tire and wheel from your 1997 Mitsubishi Montero. Remove the brake shoe assembly. Tap on the rotors to loosen them. The rotors will slide off. Reverse the process to install your new rotors.

Rotors are always turned off the vehicle. They are put on a lathe and a thin sheet of metal is removed to make the surface smooth again.
there are two screws that hold the rotor to the hub. be careful not to damage the screws.
You prolly need to replace brakes and rotors. Another possibility may be that you need an alignment as well.

I believe the awnser varies on what model you have... I have a 1999 galant GTZ mine has disc ( rotors ) front and back, The rear has the disc drum combo for the parking brake... Hope this helps
