i had the same problem on my 05 touring. Try to disconnect the car battery for a few days, that will reset the DVD player. It worked for me.

In Honda terms it then is a "EXL RES", which stands for an EX with leather interior and a Rear Entertainment System. The next level up is the Touring model. According to the dealership Stockton to Malone Honda (on Oct 18, 2007), there is no auxiliary input for the '05 Odyssey radio. I found that very odd considering the display on the nav system shows "AM, FM1, FM2, CD, DVD, AUX" If there is no input, why does the display show "AUX"? If there is one(Maybe because of the CD player or DVD player or something), if it's not obvious, it would be behind the radio. You may need an adapter. Look up the model radio online and see if you can find any more info on it.
