Solenoid pack that's located on your trans mission it for helping your shifting abilites if it cloges up youll have problems shifting even when you driving down the road it will down shift on it on..if it is a 2.0 shoc or a dhoc they are both in the same place on both. that is on the top of the engine there may be a air intake tub over it but that's easy just one nut on the intake. then remove the plug wires ,and the plug to the comp. then remove the four 10mm bolts that hold it down and replace in reverse order.

I believe what your talking about changing is an ignition coil. A solenoid pack has nothing to do with spark plug wires, and is not on the top of the engine. A solenoid pack is a transmission component located on the side of the transmission.
