It is kind of a pain.. I had my 10 year old turn the radio on and off till i got the motor to suck it in...You just feed the new mast in till it takes it...took me about 20 minutes to do..you may have to use a little force...Oh ya, you have to unscrew the chrome top piece first...
how do you replace a antenna motor for a 2000 Toyota landcruiser
Just replaced the motor for a 2003 Sequoia and it cost $250 for parts and labor.
To change a cabin air filter on a Toyota Sequoia one can either take the vehicle to the mechanic for repair or learn to do it for oneself. An instruction manual for how to repair any vehicle can be found at just about any library. One can also order the repair manual online or at an automotive specialty store.
i dnt really no but i no i has somthing 2 do wit the car hahaha lols
Most antenna in cars can just be unscrewed at the base. You may have to disconnect a wire at the base though. Check your owner's manual or a car repair manual for more details.
Bring the destroyed external antenna to the store where you purchased it. Or visit any repair shops near you which will be able to repair the external antenna.
AnswerThe plastic tape is broken and cannot be repaired,. Go to Toyota dealer and purchase a antenna mast.Cost about $ 50.00 . You are lucky taht the motor works.. If it did not, your cost would be $200.00 for parts.Cheap way to fix--go to a junk yard and get the whole thing from a wreck...Not to hard to install.. Z-ManAnswerThe cheapest fix is to replace it with a manual mast --
I would check with Toyota and make sure its not covered by recall. Our 2004 had both of them fail and Toyota replaced them for free.
Next to impossible. A new release lever will need to be installed. Take it to the Toyota dealer ... they built it, they know how to repair it.
It is impossible. Buy a new one. Don't waste your time! I found a good fix @ http://www.findonefindall.com/toyota-sienna/ Please contact Toyota (phone number in your owner manual) to document this defect, the more complaints they receive, the better the chance of a recall. A more complete URL to the page referenced in the second answer is ... http://www.findonefindall.com/toyota-sienna/siennareardoor.htm I used that successfully to repair the broken rear door latch on my 2000 Toyota Sienna. ("Buy a new one" is ~$65. I made the repair with tools and screws lying around the house in about an hour's time. Repair at the dealer reportedly is ~$300.)
A repair manual for a Toyota manufactured vehicle can be found through the Toyota website. Free service manuals can be found online at the website 'Repair Service Manuals' under Toyota.
The unit seems to be broken, it's just a nylon cord that forces the antenna up, then it pulls the ant. down once the signal is lost. The nylon cord came a loose from the tip of the antenna, which is not repairable. By a new one.
