I had the same problem on my 93, so I went to a local salvage yard and found and old caprice and roadmaster and took the clips out of the window tracks. To install them on your car you need to detach window from regulator arm and remove window. Then bend back the ends of the window track then pop out the square shaped stud so you can remove broken clip. Pop in replacements clips then use a 1/2 in nut and bolt in place of the stud you removed. Install window back in and snap regulator ARM back into clips using pliers or vise grips or whatever works for you til you hear them snap in place. Aggravating job but well worth the money you'll save by doin it yourself!!!

The alternator has nothing to do with stalling. When did you last replace the fuel filter? If the engine light is on then have a repair shop scan it and repair it. It is cheaper than guessing.
