The answer depends on what equipment has your multi-function display. I suggest you refer to the user manual.
If the multi-function display is frozen on a Peugeot 406, the computer may have to be reset. Unhook the positive cable on the batter for a few minutes.

You can change a bulb in the multi function display unit of a 307 by first making sure that the lamp is turned off. Then unscrew the bulb and remove it from the lamp.

1. Turn key to position 2. Keep in mind position 1 will turn on radio, but position 2 will illuminate the warning indicators on the dash. 2. Service due or past due will display. You still need to cycle thru the display and bring it up again. Cycle to the mileage indicator and then press the up or down arrow until the service due / past due is displayed 3. Press and hold the reset button. This is the black stick on the dash used to reset the odometer and to dim the dash lights. 4. A message will display "to reset, press and hold for 3 seconds". Release the black stick then press and hold it again for 3 seconds. 5. Indicator should reset and tell you the next service A or B is due in XXX miles. 6. Print this out and put in the glove box so you don't have to search the web for the solution again. That will not work.
