How do you repair the R button on Nintendo DS Lite?

YO u can check youtube for a good guide orr folo these steps:1 Get a wet cotton bud and rub it in the openings of the r button

2 blow in to r button a phew times

and 3 if u want to clean more use a cotton and clean out the water in the opening

or you can :

get a game boy advance sp game that uses the R button try to use if it does than you can go back to playing ds games

Answer 2: I have this problem only my friend dropped it and the R button popped off i put it back on and it stopped working but the problem your referring to now i have this with my L button probably real dusty or something

you should call Nintendo customer service and ask them how or send them an e-mail and they might help you out. also you can keep pressing the button or blow on it by making sure your lips don't let any air out.

My DSI got broken and i went to game stop and they gave me a phone number to Nintendo repairs and my warranty just expired so then you pay like 40$ bucks if you don't have a warranty and they'll fix it unless they say it got dropped which mine wasn't so 4 weeks later i got it back all repaired, the button i broke was the "R" button. go to YouTube. that's how i got my buttons fixed but they don't last forever. Otherwise, you had the warranty for your ds(lite,i), send it to Nintendo for repairs

hand it in to GameStop or something i have the same problem but i just press it really hard and it works

I had the same problem and I found out that you blow in it.

Epic2524 here blow into them it may blow a fuse and wont turn on unless you charge them for a few hours.
