I don't know how to repair it but in order to replace it you would have to take your inkate manifold off to take it out and the tire guard to get to the bolts and when you lossen the alternator you have to play around with it to get it through the top... it seems hard but it really isn't. I have a 99 Dodge Avenger with a 2.5 in it and i had to change mine like 2 times and wiat till you c what the price of it. I hope that answered ur question if it didn't sorry.
have an alternator, battery, and electrical check to find out what the problem is. battery may not be taking a charge, or the alternator is not putting out enough voltage.
