Only the AODE that came with the Taurus.
You mean a 1992 Taurus SHO... yes all the MTX transmissions are the same from 1989 to 1995. the regular Ford Taurus does not have a standard transmission.
Unfortunately, no. The 1991 Taurus / Sable had a one-of-a-kind transmission. They are only intertchangable with the same year and car family. There are some early 1992 cars that have the same transmission as the 1991. A transmission shop could give you more information.
For a 1991 Ford Taurus : According to my Chilton's Auto Repair Manual : ( 16.0 U.S. gallons or the optional extended range tank which is 18.6 )
1991 had its own pecular transmission. I know this because I personally tried to find one. The electronic controls are different for that year from any other. It has to be one for a 1991.

Swapping transmissions in a Taurus can be difficult because of all the changes ford made on these cars. For example 1991 and 1992 Taurus 3.0 liter transmissions are both axod-e but are not interchangeable because of electronic bulkhead connectors.Best to check with a transmission shop, most are happy to provide this information.
There are times in every cars life when you weigh the value verses the cost of repair. A transmission repair is roughly $2000.00 to get you a $750 car. You may wish to reconsider this decision. Even a used transmission installed by yourself may not be cost effective.
