The Traction Control Light comes on every time you turn on the ignition. It should go off as soon as you start the engine. If it does not, then you have the traction control turned off. Turn it back on and the light will go off. If you have the Traction Control turned on and the light stays lit, then there is a problem with the traction control.
For Chargers: -If it just flashes a couple of times and goes away, it was on because you lost traction in at least one wheel -If it comes on and stays lit for three 'trips,' then there was an anomoly in your traction control system that has not come back -If it comes on and doesn't go away after three 'trips,' then there is a problem with your traction control system and you should go to a Dealership ASAP.

The wheels have lost traction
You may have a bad wheel speed sensor (inside bearing assembly) or poor connection at plug connector to sensor. Replacement harness is available. When traction / abs lights are on have trouble codes checked at autozone or advanced auto to see what wheel it is.
The only thing that comes to mind is the Traction Control.
It comes on automatically. If it is not on, the warning light comes on and the failure should be investigated.
