Remove the blower motor retaining nuts. Remove the wiring harness from the back of the blower motor. Remove the fan from the blower motor. Reverse the process to install the new blower motor.

The blower motor resistor in the us models of the Ford Focus is behind the glove box, against the firewall, to the left of the actual blower motor.....my stock one was blue. it is only held in by one screw....just unscrew it and pull it out. They are like 15 dollars from the dealer.

Connect the blower motor directly to 12 volts DC. If it runs it is good.

In the neighborhood of $3500.00. Sorry, that's not true if you are looking to replace a Thermal Fuse for the blower motor. I have a 2002 Focus SVT and it costs $18.86 for the part and about 10 minutes time to fix.

Replace blower motor resistor usually located in the duct work or out in engine compartment in ductwork by heater motor.

The blower motor, on a Ford fiesta, can be located on the firewall in the engine compartment. The blower motor will be on the passenger side of the firewall.

you have to access the blower through the glove compartment. open the compartment and press the tabs on the sides in the back of the compartment. look inside and the bottom right and you will see the blower motor, remove the three screws and the wire harness, replace impeller and replace motor.

Next guess is motor. Blower motor that is. maybe a switch? Probably the motor itself, if it isn't the switch.

on the blower houseing beside the blower motor

If you are saying that the blower motor only works on the high speed setting, then the Blower Motor Resistor is defective and needs replacing.
