You will need 2 tools to do the job right. Both of these can be rented from AutoZone then returned for a complete refund. First is what we old schoolers call a pickle to take the long arm off the pitman arm. then you will need to take the big nut off that is holding the pitman arm to the steering box. you then need the pitman arm puller that is the second tool from AutoZone. Slide it over the pitman and use a big wrench to tighten the bolt. It should be cake from there. Hope this helps. ... just to add: you should also buy (not rent) a can of penetrating oil. Spray it on the night before and let it get in there. The next day, the pitman will come off a bit easier. If that doesn't work, heat it with a small torch first.
