it is miserable if you must do it go to the lybrary and get the timing specs but realise it is a total pain and if your timing is off you can mess up the engine. I wont do it again it took three of s to keep from jumping time while adjusting tention on belt i would get it done. You take off both timng covers and lower pully along with other belt. Then take off the timing belt put the new one on and adjust to timing specs thei is a stamp on each point that you will have to match up. You will need a spaner to properly adjust the tention. Adjust the tention keeping timing corect then put it back together,

To replace a timing belt on a 1.9 Vectra, disconnect battery cable and disconnect the alternator belt. Remove steering pump, alternator, and AC compressor. Remove distributor cap, bolts and screws on the timing belt. Finally, remove old timing belt and replace with new.Ê

You will need to pick out the right kind of belt. Then you can take out the old belt before putting in the new one.
