Your going to need to rebuild the engine, which can cost from $400-450 in full rebuild kit. Plus time. Rotary engines are alien compared to the normal piston engine. Altho compared to the pistion engine, a rotary really only has 3 moving parts.. the 2 rotors, an eccentric shaft! And tends to be far more reliable if maintained. A rotary engine can be got at about 800-1000 for a NA and 1,400 for engine transmission, ecu and uncut wiring harness.

this could be a few things but most likely is that you've blown an apex seal which is pretty bad, the only way to know for sure is a Mazda compression test. best get it tested to be sure because if it is the apex seals then the longer you leave it the more damage is being caused inside your engine.
