Usually, there is a round black "cap" behind the headlight. Unscrew this counter-clockwise, undo the metal spring clip holding the bulb in. Pull off the connecting wire (they can be stubborn!). Connect the wire to the replacement bulb without touching the glass with bare hands (if necessary wear latex gloves). Insert the replacement bulb, fit the spring clip and replace the cap - job done.
