How do you replace a broken oil dipstick tube on your 1995 3.8 engine Ford Windstar?
u can try to colaspe it with a a punch just keep going around the sides if u dont have enough to grab with pliers pull the oil pan and u can tap it out from the bottem

you need to replace the dipstick. because they very so widely, the original equipment dipstick is essential to determine correct levels. the only other alternative would be to check for proper number of quarts in your owners manual, drain the existing oil, remove and replace the filter, and then refill.
