the fuel pump is in the gas tank .take off the gas tank cover which has 4 bolts holding the cover then you drop the gas tank its on the passenger side in the top of the gas tank . but check your fuses for the fuel pump first cause it might just a blown fuse.
you have to drop the fuel tank and acutally get inside of it to get the old one out
In recent experience, I have learned that a 1992 rodeo does not have a cut off switch and that on most the fuel pump is in the tank!

The fuel level sensor can only be replaced by first removing the fuel tank. it then can be easily removed from the top.
