Repalce the burned out fuse from the fusebox
pull the hood release down by your left foot (sitting in driver's seat.) open the fuse panel under the hood (black box w/ rounded corners and 4 clips around it, on driver's side- squeeze the clips together using both hands, lift cover up and off.) get the white fuse puller (pull it up out of it's storage slot.) then use the narrow, tweezer-looking end and grab your bad fuse. tug it straight out of the panel and replace it with a mini fuse of the same amp#.
if you insist on using another fuse, even temporarily, use a SMALLER number than what you are supposed to. if you use a bigger number, you will burn up electronics or wires if there's a problem. the fuse is designed to be the weak link that melts before important car parts.
