YOU DONT THROW THE CAR AWAY. YOU WILL NOT FIND ANY REPLACEMENT PARTS FOR THAT VEHICLE. GET SOMETHING FUEL INJECTED
ABOUT $1200
The 1992 Honda Civic head gasket creates a seal between the head and engine block. The head gasket is made of a hard metal.
Replacing a head gasket on a 1.5 liter Honda Civic requires removal of many of the engines components such as the intake manifold, valve cover, and timing belt. After removing the head from the engine it needs to be resurfaced. Replace the old head gasket and machined head onto the block and reinstall all the other components.
It should take about 8 hours give or take...
I would say around 300 dollars..
You will need the intake and exhaust manifold gaskets. I would also install new head bolts.
head gasket
that's easy.......have a willing friend fix it for ya or get eaten alive at a shop
How much is it to replace thehead gasket on a honda accord 1998?
Have a 94 Honda Civic LX. Radiator develope a hole and overheated the engine. Dealer quoted price of $1900 to replace cylinder head gasket, valve covers, timing belts, water pump (other things as well). Plus replace radiator. Cost includes sending out gasket for surfacing.
One if it is a 4 cyl
In between the head and the block. Just like any other vehicle.
