1 -Turn off the car
2 -Place the car keys in your pocket for safety
3 -Raise the hood
4 -Remove filler panel which is between radiator support and grille (this is the black panel that runs across the width of the vehicle, and is secured by 3 plastic "tab nuts" which must be turned counterclockwise about 1/4 turn to be released; put the "tab nuts" in a bag then place them in a safe place; the panel should lift out very easily).
5 -Locate the two sheetmetal tabs behind the bulkhead (behind the headlamps), which have "screws going through them"
6 -Pull these tabs up (when removed, they will look like an upside down "L")
7 -Keep track of which "L" came from where because they are different
8 -Pull headlamp assembly slightly forward
9 -Rotate the black collar which surrounds the bulb holder (wires!)
10 -Gently remove the headlight bulb from the headlight lens/reflector assembly by using a slight up/down rocking motion
11 -Remove headlight lens/reflector assembly from the vehicle
Reinstall by reversing the order of the above, being careful to fully seat the plastic nuts that the "screws" go through in the proper places. The sheetmetal "L"s should slide and lock in place if all is put back properly.

How do you replace a rear wheel assembly?
the circuit breaker is built into the headlight switch.
With the hood open, remove the plastic cover the exposes the inside of the headlight. There are 3 clips to remove from the inside, plus the wire harness. The headlight just comes out from the out side then. You might have to replace some of the clips, only found at Ford, and about 7 bucks ea.
Bring to a shop that does state safety inspections
If it is the same as all Crown's: open the trunk, remove the plastic wing nuts that hold the whole tail light assembly (there ares 4 or 5), then pull out the assembly from the outside. Lights are there.
From inside the trunk, remove the wing nuts and just pull the whole assembly to the out side. Bulbs are in there.
dont get a 1992 crown victoria. Set the car on fire and collect the insurance, then get a new car.
I think it is above the gas pedal
There are two panels built into the fan cover. Open the panel on the side with the bad headlight. Reach in and turn the lamp counter clockwise, and it will loosen and then pop out. Replace it and reverse the procedure. http://centralillinoisentertainment.com
