It doesn't have a coolant control valve for adjusting the heat. It has a temperature blend door behind the dash inside the HVAC (Heat, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) assembly. The temp blend door mixes hot and cold air to your setting and is operated by a electric actuator which is known to fail. I would recommend purchasing a shop manual if you intend on doing this job yourself. It is fairly complicated.

The heater control valve is used to shut off hot coolant from entering the core when the heater is in the off position. A heater control valve can be actuated by either a vacuum line or a cable from the vacuum heater control valve to the heater core.
