To replace a mirror on a 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche, first, ensure the vehicle is parked and the ignition is off. Carefully remove the interior door panel by unscrewing screws and gently prying it away from the door frame. Disconnect the wiring harness for the mirror, then remove the bolts securing the old mirror to the door. Install the new mirror by reversing the process: secure it with bolts, reconnect the wiring, and reattach the door panel.
Remove the screws and replace it on the required side.
How do you replace the starter on 2002 chevy avalanch
The 2002 Chevy Avalanche does not have user replaceable radio bulbs. The radio needs to be dismantled by a qualified technician to replace the bulbs.
YOU DON'T!!! I have a 2003 avalanche and I had to replace the water pump you can't replace the seals!!! It's a defect in the 2001 to 2003 avalanche the seals fail.
You first need to remove the door panel and then unbolt the side view mirror from the inside of the truck.
To tighten a rear view mirror on a Chevy Avalanche, you may need to adjust the tension screw found on the mirror attachment point. Use a screwdriver to tighten the screw and secure the mirror in place. If this does not work, you may need to replace the mirror mount or adhesive pad for a more secure fit.

If the glass is broken, They make a replacement glass you can by at NAPA it glues in. If the plastic mirror assembly is broken, Then go to junk yard or GM dealer and by a new one. Replace whole assembly.
I have a 2002 Avalanche abd replaced it last year---8.1 liter-----it took my mechanic about 3 hours to get it out/in.
there will be a panel on the inside of the door, it might have some hidden screws. Remove this and you should see some nuts or screws holding the mirror on, remove these and the mirror should fall off.
Take it to the dealer.
