1. Remove the PS pump reservoir.

2. Remove the PS pump pulley.

3. Raise and support the vehicle.

4. Remove the 6 bolts and right hand splash shield.

5. Disconnect the PS pressure hose.

6. Lower the vehicle.

7. Loosen the clamp and remove the PS reservoir to pump hose.

8. Remove the 3 bolts and remove the PS pump.

Installation:

1. Install the PS pump.

2. Raise and support the vehicle.

3. Install the PS pressure hose.

4. Install the RH splash shield.

5. Lower the vehicle.

6. Install the Power Steering pump pulley.

How to bleed the PS pump of air.

1. Fill the reservoir with Mercon AFT.

2. Raise and support the vehicle.

3. Disconnect the electrical connector to the coil.

4. With the starter operating move the steering wheel lock to lock several times.

5. Make sure the reservoir is full of fluid at all times.

It is essential that the weight of the vehicle not be on the steering system to bleed the air from the pump.
