I've been looking for a rear axle for an 04 Titan as well. However, our 04 Titan had a recall and was replaced with a 2005 Titan rear axle. Unless you know a friend in the auto industry a rear axle is going to cost you over $1000. Check out http://www.automotix.net/ They actually have some good deals for the rear axle. We called Nissan dealership and a brand new one would cost at least $1200 or more. Channary

you cannot just change the boot you will have to replace the whole axle
It will cost approximately $90 to replace the axle seal on your Nissan Pathfinder. The axle seal will cost approximately $30 and require one hour of labor to install.
The hook on the vacuum that hooks your face and feeds it the fish
Easy fix!
1 - simplest and cheapest method- replace the axle 2- replace the CV joints and boots 3- lots of unnecessary work, very expensive - check the joints and replace as needed, replace boots
If it has hubs, they can be replaced. I'm assuming that, by 'straight axle truck', you're referring to one which uses a solid front axle, rather than independent front suspension? Those use hubs, as well.
Replace the bushings in the track bars that connect the rear axle to the vehicle.
It's a dump truck with four axles--the steer axle in front and three axles in back. One of them moves up and down via a control in the cab, so the tires aren't on the road if the truck's not loaded. A tri-axle dump truck carries more weight than a one-axle or two-axle truck.
There's no such thing as a one axle truck. There has to be a minimum of two axles. "Single axle" if a term referring to a truck with only a single drive axle, and doesn't count the steer axle. Same with "tandem axle", "tri axle", "quad axle", and "quint axle".
most shops will want to replace entire axle shaft which is the way to go, depending on where you take it should cost 175-250 per axle,
