how to replace a front fog light on a ford focus
REPLACE THE BULB
Remove the tail light cover in the cargo compartment. Remove the wiring harness. Remove the blinker retaining screws. Reverse the process to install the new blinker.
Replace the tail light bulb from inside the trunk after pulling back the carpet. This should probably fix your blinker too.
Sounds like the light bulb is either loose or burned out in the dash. Replace it.
Bulb is blown. Replace bulb.
You remove the headlight to gain access to the back of the blinker housing, you can reach into the back of it and pull out the light and cable it's attached to. It's a pain.
On my 2005 ford focus ZX3 I had to open the hatchback - unscrew the Phillips bolt and then look up underneath the light housing / hatchback for a plastic WINGNUT. Unscrew that and the light housing compartment will simply lift out. Then twist the BULB housing couterclockwise until the bulb comes out. Then pull the bulb straight out. Repeat backward the process to install.

You need to remove the head light, which is rather simple, and reach through the opening from the head light to replace the light bulb for the blinker.
