Where is cylinder temp sensor on 2000 Ford f250 with v10 engine
I have a 1995 Z28 and a lift.... I didn't see a dampener (shock absorber like)on the steering unit, unless it is completely covered by the metal bulk head support underneath it. If it had one, I would like to replace it b/c it feels like it needs it, but I guess it could be a control arm bushing or a tie rod end etc. -Zeb
Down on the steering box itself right on top you will see a nut about 3/4" with what looks like a slotted screw head in the middle of it, just crack the nut loose and tighten down the screw until your steering free play diminishes. Then retighten the nut while holding the slotted screw part from turning as you retighten the nut.
Intake & exhaust manifold must be removed. Then the head must be removed. head inspected for cracks or warping, and new head gasket installed. Not a repair for a novice.
I need to know how to replace the hoses on my power steering system. I also need to know what type of hydraulic fluid and steering fluid it takes?? If my head gasket is bad and I put stop leak then why is it still overheating?? Where is the water going!!!
To replace the head gasket on a 1995 Honda Passport, first, disconnect the battery and drain the engine coolant. Remove the necessary components, including the intake and exhaust manifolds, valve cover, and cylinder head bolts, to access the head gasket. Carefully lift the cylinder head off, replace the old gasket with a new one, and ensure the surfaces are clean. Reassemble everything in reverse order, torque the cylinder head bolts to the manufacturer's specifications, and refill the coolant and oil before starting the engine.
