How do you replace a tail light bulb on a Jeep Liberty?
Open up your tailgate and on the sides of the taillights will be
screws, you need a Allen wrench or Allen type screwdriver. Unscrew
them and pull out the taillight assembly (use a little muscle it'll
come out, don't drop it) there you will find the bulb sockets gently
twist out and replace the bulb ( the bulb number should be on the
base, use this for replacement bulb) reinstall the taillight and put
the screws back in.
NOTE: the driver side access to the screws are a little tight
and the passenger side is completely visible when you open the
tailgate (2 screws per tailight )..
