How do you replace a taillight on a 2006 Nissan Altima?

I have a 2006 SE-R so I hope this is all the same. Also I am going by memory having done this a bout a year ago.

1. Open the Trunk, and remove the carpeting from the left and right rear corners of the in inside of the trunk.

2. You should see a nut on stud combo. (1 or 2, I dont remember for sure). Remove the nuts.

3. The light fixture is held on by snap insert fittings. You will have to carefully pull on the fixture until it comes off.

4. There is a standard plastic bulb housing on the back of each fixture. Just twist to remove and be careful not to damage the bulbs or wiring. Just insert into new fixture and reinstall.
