it should have a 3/8 square hole in the bracket that privets, put a 3/8 beaker bar in it and either push to take the belt off or pull. when you get the belt off take out the bolts that hold the pulley bracket on, replace it. Reverse order to assemble and last put the belt back on as it came off , on the radiator support there should be a diagram of the way the belt goes, be sure not to get it twisted up at the bottom crank pulley.

The squeal you speak of is belt related, yes; but it is not the belt. There is a belt tensioner ( the part you had to pull up to remove and replace the belt). Inside this tensioner, the bearing goes bad causing the squealing sound you describe. Replace the tensioner (pulley or assembly) and the noise will go away.

If you have a second person to help, have them slide the belt off the alternator pulley from the top side.
