It is a 5 hour job for a licensed mechanic. Water pump should be checked at same time. This is an interference engine so if timing belt breaks it will very likely cause valve to piston contact(or big $$). Replace evry 105 K miles. Service techs will also check valve clearances and adjust if necessary. About a $500-$700 job at dealer.
