Very carefully drop the Transmission Fluid drain pan (it is full of fluid). Unscrew the filter and replace with the new one. Replace the gasket on the drain pan making sure you gaet all of the old gasket off; it will leak if you don't. reinstall the the drain pan. It is a good idea to drain the pan and wipe out with a lint free cloth. You will also want to clean off the magnet in the bottom of the pan as it will have metal shavings on it. If you decide to replace the fluid remember that you are only getting about 1/2 of it if you only replace what is in the pan.
