first you will want to start by removing the grill. the next thing that you will have to do is remove the battery and battery tray (to acess the lines better) ensure that the refregerant is emptied and remove the condenser mount bolts. if you have a auxulary transmission cooler it may have to be moved out of the way. on some models the engine cooling radiator may also have to be removed. hope this helps.
in the low side hose by the condenser
Many of the GM vehicles have the AC orifice inside the condenser fitting that goes between the condenser and the cabin.
How do you replace ac condenser on a 2001 chevy venture?
R134a
you have an AC leak
Find the idler tensioner pulley and retract it. You then will be able to easily remove and replace the belt.
8oz.
Big Job and even bigger if you have AC. If you intend on DIY, purchase a shop manual for that vehicle, you will need it.
The high speed relay switch may be faulty.
Assuming you're referring to the AC system, there isn't one... as far as I know, all model years of the Blazer (K5, S10, and the midsize model replacing the S10 Blazer when the full sized Blazer became the Tahoe) used a fixed orifice tube.
Unscrew radiator, should be two attachments connected to condenser. Unscrew them from the condenser and it should slide right out from in front of the radiator.
It is located under the AC and Heat instrument panel
