Here's what ya do. Call your significant other over to the car and say "honey, I bet you can't figure out how to change the engine air filter on this car." With any luck she takes you up on the bet, has the filter changed in under five minutes and you owe the S.O. a beer.
To do it yourself is still a less than five minute job.
1. Open the hood.
2. Peer into the darkness at the front of the engine compartment on the drivers side. You'll notice a fairly large black box with a large black tube (the air intake) between it and the throttle body.
3. Loosen the clamp on that tube nearest the black box. If in doubt, just loosen both clamps.
4. The big black box has two, 10 mm bolts on one end (nearest the fender). Unscrew those bolts. There's no need to remove them.
5. Unplug the Mass Airflow Sensor (connector on top of the tube at the box end)
6. Lift the box lid from the side the bolts were loosened while pulling toward the fender so the box lid separates from the tube. Flip the lid over so it's resting on the engine.
7. Remove the original filter and check inside the box for heavy collections of dirt, critter nests or anything that might contaminate your brand new filter. Wipe or vacuum them out.
8. Put new filter where you removed the old one and reverse the process to re-assemble the airbox.
Done! Now 'you' get the beer.
By the way, if it's time to replace the engine air filter, it's also time to replace the cabin filter. You'll find that behind the glove box door. Just remove the door, pull out the tray containing the filter, remove the old one, put in a new one and re-assemble the door.

I've been told by the Toyota dealer that the rear bumper must be removed to replace a reverse bulb on the 2007 Solara Sport. Is there any other way?
On a 4 cylinder, 2007 Toyota Solara. it is on the right side of the engine, just to the left of the frame. It is underneath the air conditioner pump.
See answers already posted to "How do you change oil on a 2004 Toyota Solara," "How do you change oil on a 2006 Toyota Solara," "How do you change oil on a 2007 Solara." They're the same as the '08. The short answer is, oil changes are the same on almost all vehicles. 1. Place a suitable container (5 quarts or more for the Solara) under the car. 2. Remove the drain plug and let the oil empty into it. 3. Replace the drain plug and move the container until it's under the filter 4. Spin the filter off (in the case of the Solara it's wise to place rags or paper towels under the filter to prevent a mess on the floor) 5. Replace filter 6. Add five quarts of oil 7. Start engine, check for leaks 8. Reset maintenance light. Cheers

how do i replace the fuel filter on a trailblazer 2007
Removing the battery would pretty much do the trick without damage to the car.
In order to remove the oil filter from a 2007 Toyota RAV4 you need to use an oil filter wrench. This wrench is a specialty to Toyota.
