When you open the drivers door, there is a fuse and relay panel at the end of the dash. Its hidden when you close the door. The cover has a diagram that shows what each fuse is for. The large plastic square looking component is the lock relay. There are other relays too, but they have only 4 pins to make contact with. The lock relay has 5 pins, 2 on the ends and 1 in the middle. These relays can be removed by wiggling the case back and forth until it unseats. Disconnect the negative terminal before you remove these. If wiggling the case does not release the relay, use a small straight slot to pry and to release it, then wiggle it off.

Remove the retaining ring at the top of your Chevy S 10 ignition lock cylinder. Slide the ignition lock cylinder out. Remove the wiring harness from the back of the ignition lock cylinder. Reverse the process to install the new ignition lock cylinder.
