It would be cheaper to let a repair shop do it as the special socket to do the repair cost around $75.00. If you do not use it very often then the cost out-weights the benefit.

It requires a special 22 mm or 7/8 inch socket with one side cut out . I found it at most major auto part stores for about 5 to 20 dollars.
Often your car will let you know ahead of time when something is screwy by turning on the Check or Service Engine Light.
Some Auto part store will read your Check or Service Engine Light codes for FREE. All you have to do is ask!
