I have a '95 and I just went in the trunk and used pliers to twist the screws upwards and took the speakers out that way. I used #10 screws, lock-washers and nuts to secure the new speakers.
To replace the back speakers in a 2006 Acura TL, remove the SRS housing on both sides and the back panel of the speakers. Remove all wiring attached to the speakers and replace.

I had a very hard time with my back speakers. I had to remove the back seats so I could remove the parcel shelf and speakers. Then I did the same thing in reverse with my new speakers lol. I am NOT looking forward to doing the front speakers/tweeters. Haha Khloe :)
To replace the rear speakers, you have to go in the trunk, look towards upper back section of the trunk and you will see the speakers. The speakers have two black hand-screws that can be unscrewed without tools. It is as simple as this.
The rear speakers on the Toyota Camry require the screws to be removed. The speakers are then disconnected and taken out. The new units can now be installed.

is it a convertible? if so the onlt thing that you do is lift the flap in the corners ( with the top up of course) and there you will find the speakers. Simply undo the screws and unhook the connection. Then you put the new speakers back in the holes, attach the wires and put the screws back in.
