90,000
how to replace valve cover gasket toyota rav4 2001
According to the Gates website the 2001 Toyota RAV4 , 2.0 liter 4 cylinder , has no listing for a timing belt so it must have a timing CHAIN
YES
No need. Has a timing chain.
The 2.0 liter 4 cylinder in a 1999 Toyota RAV4 has a timing BELT ( it is NOT an interference engine , replace the belt at 90,000 mile intervals )
Just click this link and print the diagram out and put it on that way. When you loosen the tensioner pull the ratchet away from the vehicle and you will need a 19mm socket. Good luck. http://www.search-autoparts.com/searchautoparts/data/articlestandard//motorage/162005/155700/article.pdf

Type your answer here... I have a 2005 Toyota Rav4 with ninety thousand miles. Do I have a timing belt or chain and how much will it cost to replace it?
V6 RAV4 seems to have a timing chain which does not need any periodic maintenance
Labor and timing belt only, aprox $400.
