Open the trunk and look on the rear trunk wall in the area just in front of the tail lights. There sticking through the trunk upholstery fabric you will see three black thumb screws for each tail light. You should be able to loosen these by hand but if too tight use pliers to break them loose. After you remove the thub screws, push on the screw studs that you took the thumbscres off of and the tail light will move out from the body OS into the bulb housing.f the car enuff for you to grasp it and pull the entire tail light assembly away from the car. On the back of the tail light fixture will be three plugs with wires to to, The plugs on the left and right are smaller but the middle one is the receptacle plug for the tail light running light and stoplight. Grab it and twist it and pull it out of the housing. Then you will see the bulb. Pull straight out on the bulb and it will come out of the receptacle easily. Usually the bulb part number is stamped in white letters on the bulb housing where the glass bulb is inserted into the bulb housing.Assembled it all in reverse order. The light bulb unit is found underneath the carpet behind each tail light area. Remove the plastic screws holding the trunk carpet to the interior sides behind the rear lights, follow the wiring to the center of the tail light, this is the light bulb unit-unscrew and remove.
