Open and empty out your glovebox, or everything will spill out on the floor anyway. Squeeze the sides of the glovebox with just your hands, no screwdriver is needed, and let it fall all the way open. You will see a black plastic box, now you might need a flat screwdriver to unclip the ends and remove cover, just in front about 8" long and maybe 1..1.5" wide, or 'tall', it's in there horizonatlly, the filter element is right there and will slide right out, reassemble same way backward

How do you replace cabin air filter in 1995 Toyota Previa?
Cabin filter located behind glove box
to my knowledge, it has no cabin filter!
No, 1998 Toyota Corollas do not have cabin air filters, according to a Toyota mechanic in Madison, WI.
The cabin air filter is located behind the glove box, you will have to remove the glove box, behind the glove box is a cover about 1" high and 7" long, remove that cover and you will see a tray that holds the cabin air filter, remove the tray and you can replace the paper cabin air filter, I recomend using a Toyota cabin air filter, the Toyota cabin air filter is a HEPA air filter and is available at any Toyota dealer for about $ 30
