The filter is behind the glove box. The box can be opened and slid to the right, then the top frame clip is removed. The wiring harness needs to be unplugged then the air filter box can be reached.

The cabin filter sits at an angle inside this compartment. The air enters through the vent holes on the top of the hood below the windshield. It can be a little bit tricky to get the cabin filter put into the holder just so. If the top does not go back on easily, the filter is not straight.
