if you are talking about the egr valve its on the rear of the engine. take out 2 13mm bolts and unplug the wires and pull out the hose (metal)on the intake. once it is off you can remove the 2 8mm bolts and install in reverse except that the two 8mm bolts will have to be loose(so the pipe will turn) and tightened after fully in place. Took me about and hour to change mine.
