First remove the lock cap on the base of the antenna. It may require a pair of pliers. It is chrome. Once that is removed. Remove the black rubber trim cap. Work it left and right, it will slide off. Once that is done, open the trunk and remove the push pins in the driver side trim panel against the quarter panel. Remove the brake light assembly, this has a spring clip and hinges. Once the push pins are removed, bend the carpet panel back out of the way. There are 2 screws holding the assembly. One is a large Philips that mounts the assembly, the other is a small Philips, it is for the ground. Pull the assembly downward. As you pull down be gentle, there us a metal guide assmbly that has a spring that holds it tight to the xterior lock nut. It took me about 15 minutes to change the antenna. Farily simple to repair if the mast is drive is broken,
