Why are you replacing the switch? If the fan works only on high speed, replace the fan resistor. There was a TSB for this.

Your radiator fan does not come on on a 1995 Pontiac Bonneville?

The radiator fan sensor switch or the radiator fan motor are at fault (maybe even both). Wire the fan motor direct to see if it will run, if it does, replace the sensor switch. If the fan motor doesn't run, replace the fan motor before you buy a new sensor. If after replacing the fan motor, the fan still doesn't run, then replace the sensor.

How do you replace the dash mounted fan switch in a 2006 Ford Explorer?

PLEASE NOTE: If your A/C fan only runs on higher speeds, the most likely cause is the Fan Motor resistor, not the switch. This resistor bank is normally located behind the glove compartment and has a four wire harness plugged into it. Try replacing the resistors first as this is a common problem.
