You can get the float valve assembly for your Kawasaki KE 100 on Ebay.
Normally you just replace it as it is not cost effective to replace the switch or float assembly

I would suspect a bad needle valve and seat in the carburetor. The float level can also be set too high. Float valve is a device used on swimming pools. It is designed to keep the skimmer closed and to control the air flow into the pump when the water level gets low.
Adjust the flushometer / Fill valve / flapper
Float valve is sticking allowing gas to go in crankcase . Replace float valve in carb and change the oil and filter .
You'll most likely need a new sending unit assembly because you may not be able to purchase the float by itself. How did you determine the float needs to be replaced?
The fuel pump is located in the gas tank. You have to remove the fuel tank from the vehicle. The fuel pump is attached to the fuel gauge float assembly. I am not certain on that particular year but some of the fuel pumps themselves can be removed and replaced and on others you have to replace the entire float/pump assembly.
In the rear of the vehicle attached to the rear evaporator, you will need to remove the complete assembly to replace the expansion valve......
you have to remove the fuel lines going to the top of the tank. then drop the tank. then turn the retaining ring on top and remove it. then you can pull the float/pump assembly and repair or replace. it's built together.
