To change the brake light on a Citroën C4 Picasso, first, open the rear hatch and remove the plastic cover or panel that protects the tail light assembly. Next, twist the bulb holder counterclockwise to release it from the assembly and pull it out gently. Replace the old bulb with a new one, ensuring it is securely fitted, then reinsert the bulb holder into the assembly and twist it clockwise to lock it in place. Finally, replace the cover or panel and test the brake light to ensure it works.
To change the rear brake pads on a Citroën Xsara Picasso, start by safely lifting the vehicle and removing the rear wheels. Then, remove the caliper bolts and carefully slide the caliper off the brake disc; support it to avoid stressing the brake line. Replace the old brake pads with new ones, ensuring they're properly seated, and compress the caliper piston if necessary. Reassemble by reattaching the caliper and wheel, then lower the vehicle and pump the brake pedal to seat the pads before driving.
For a Citroën Picasso, the recommended brake fluid is typically DOT 4. It's important to check your owner's manual for the specific model year, as recommendations may vary. Ensure that the brake fluid meets the necessary specifications and is suitable for your vehicle's braking system. Always use fresh brake fluid and avoid mixing different types.
