Replace thermostat on 91 ford eacort
the right front fender under the headlight
I was quoted just over $700 to replace struts & shocks in the front and rear of my '99 Dodge Caravan. Earlier I was quoted just under $700 to replace the same in my '91 Ford Escort.
A 91 engine will not fit in a 98 Escort. The 91 engine is from a generation II Escort whereas a 98 engine is from a generationIII Escort.
I bought a 89 240sx from my buddy, he had a 92 parts car and i replaced both fenders and the front bumper on the 89 with the 91 parts. In order for the bumper to fit you have to replace the inner 89 bumper with the 91.
It should be comparable of the 91 is a 2nd generation Escort.
NO
it is atf fluid
Yes, even though the front bumpers are different the fenders are the same
My Ford service manager told me that the horn on my '91 Probe is under the driver's side front fender. My horn is on its way out and the one in our '91 Escort just died altogether. I can't find either one by searching around in the engine compartment, so it must be hidden under the fender somewhere. I just read that it might be a relay switch in the steering column that would couse the horn to stop working. This might be easier to check than taking the wheel off and searching under the fender. Good luck. Bill
