The best way to chang the 2 front turn signal/ marker lights are: remove the front bumper this by raising the hood and removing the 4 mounting bolts. and lift the bumper and set out of the way. This gives you access to the head light mounting bracket 2 lower mounting bolts. There is a third bolt at upper inside corner of bracket. There is now a Bullet style fastener at the upper outside corner of the bracket that has to be gently pried out with a flat tip screwdriver. The front light assembly is now ready to be removed. disconnect the wiring. Now you will need to separate the turn signal lights from head light. You do this by on the front of the assembly at the lower outside corner of the head there is a T-10 head screw remove it. On the back of the assembly over the inside turn signal's bulb holder you will see two holders shaped like this < > if you push in and out on these at the same time this will separate the assembly. If you do it this way you can change the bulbs in less than 30 minute.
**** On my 2003 Dakota you don't have to take the bumper off or the headlight assembly out, you just use a t-10 star tip screw driver and take the screw out that is between the headlight and the turn signal assembly ( the screw is on the outer side) and the whole turn signal assembly pulls out. 5 minute job
