Follow steps below:
1) Remove both back seats.
2) Remove the carpet.
3) Locate a circle cap with wire leading to it and pry the cap that has sticky backing on it which is located on the floor just behind the driver seat.
4) Disconnect the switch.
5) Use a screwdriver to remove the clip on the fuel output tubing.
6) Remove all bolts r screws. This bolts or screws were kind of tight.
7) Lift the unit assembly and be careful not to damage the floater and strainer assembly.
8) Remove the clip of a hose attach at the bottom of the pump/filter assembly.
9) The top assembly is the filter and you can buy it at ( copy and paste the following)

10) Or you can go to Toyota Parts Dealership and the cost of the filter is more expensive.
Notes:
1) Buy a Haynes Repair Manual. This will help you also to dis-assemble the filter/ pump assembly.
2) Warning: Ensure that you have low fuel in your gas tank before opening the gas tank. Release pressure by opening the gas cap. Have a fire extinguisher with you at all time. Do not work inside your garage. Make sure you have enough ventilation.
